I did knit on my cream and white Lusk Tee formost of the day. It's moving along nicely. I am at the point where I will do the last bit of increases and then will just knit for length. I want it longer than normal because cotton. It will shrink up some and I want it to be long enough to take that into account for wear. My black tee from last year was not knit with extra length and is too short unless I wear it as a topper over a dress. I do not want that to happen again.
I have also been dreaming about my next summer top, which will be made with a yellow wool and cotton yarn. I am debating between a sweatshirt style or something with lace details and I can't seem to decide. I am waffling.
I did do repairs yesterday. I pulled out my yellow Cascadas Tee to repair the neck where the thread had broken.
It seems I was really efficient at some past point and it was already fixed. Yeay me.
Then I pulled the yarn from the box of yarn and sorted out the cuff of my Green Elton .
And voila. Repaired and wearable for the season. I think that is it for garments needing repairs at the moment. I am glad that job is done. I don't mind repairs. It needs to happen but it is like sewing patching. It's good when the pile is gone.
I dug out some socks to work on later today.
Nothing fancy but a good sock and a third. There may yet be more than one pair of socks this year.
That is it for today. Time to get to work.
