A great weekend

Now that was a good weekend.  Every day I feel more like myself and all that remains is a bit of a cough.  And I had plenty of energy to knit.  

So I did.  

I worked monogamously on my Kauni sweater.  I am so pleased with how it's going. I love the earthy greyed down tones of this colourway.  I originally bought it for a colourwork sweater with some large Scandinavian Stars.  It was beautiful but my urge to knit it is gone as it sometimes goes.  This is a really great replacement for the colourwork.  It show the yarn off wonderfully.  It also shows off my beloved Tove yarn too.  It's a great combination.

I am going back to my cream and white tee today.  It looks like that kind of weather out there.  It's sunny and blindingly bright on the snow from last week.  The sun is strong enough now that it should be a good melting day no matter what the temperature is.  Ah.  Springtime in Canada.
