Winning the day

I won the day and it felt good.  

Bottom ribbing done.  

But more than that

Neck ribbing. Done.  

I am so pleased.  It's an almost finished thing.  

Button bands today.  I did have doubt about needing them.  The fabric is quite stretchy and I want ease but not slop.  I tried the vest on yesterday and found that over a regular winter sweater, it's good but buttonbands will make it better.  I had been thinking of hook closures but now I can go with standard buttons from the button box.  The buttons are cheap.  The closures would not have been.  So yay me.

So another good day is on the horizon.  How nice.
