Friday Wrap Up

I slept long this morning and I have felt behind all day.

Not that I have anything urgent to do or any places to go.  My new pants are at the point of putting the elastic on and of all the parts, that is the one that takes the most effort.  I am trying a new way of putting it on this time too.

My normal way is to make a casing but I want to take some of the fuss of fit out of this.  I want the elastic exposed to make a smoother fit.  So wish me luck.  It seems to look ok, but I need all the luck I can get.

I have been working on my Hacho yarn Lipstick sweater and am almost where I need to start hip shaping.  I have only made a few rounds on the socks.  My goal for the weekend is to make it to sock 2 and to the first set or two of increases on the sweater.

If I get there, I am going to treat myself and allow myself to knit on my bright yellow Folklore  sweater.  It is the middle of winter and the wind has been blowing all week.  It can drive you nuts.  The yellow is right for deep winter knits.
