More Hours to Knit

I picked up a sure project yesterday morning.  I needed a good knitting day.

I got one.

This is my Lusk sweater and it is moving along beautifully.  It's all stockinette right now switching colours every twelve rows.  That is it for excitement but it is exactly right to turn this week around.  

I am thinking very seriously about using my lovely London Fog to cast on a Lusk. I have started two different things already with the yarn and neither worked.  Lusk will work.  Even though I am still on my first sweater with the pattern, I know it will work.  

My wardrobe and my heart desires simple sweaters in luscious rich colours.  It is a great basic shape and I love basic shapes in stunning yarns and combinations of yarns.  I have a couple more colours of Midknit Cravings Comfort DK that I want simple basics out of. There is some other lovely yarn in stash that I could use for simple basics too.  Some really gorgeous yarns.  Sigh.  I wish I had more hours to knit.
