Deep in the WIPs Bin

And so it was.  I sewed all day with nary a spot of knitting to be had.  I do however have two completed pairs of pants and two half wrangled next pieces of fabric ready for cutting.  That's a fair days work.

Does that mean I get to cast on something new?  No.  Maybe on the weekend.

I have been pondering my knitting while I sewed.  I have a lovely project deep in my WIPs bin.

This is my version of Joji Locatelli's Starting Point.  I love the colours on these yarns.  It is such a glorious punchy bunch of colours.  But it isn't something I will use a lot.  It's too wide to use as a scarf and the yarns are too robust to fold up to fling  around easily. I am not quite sure how I will use it.

I do think about adapting what I have now to make a top.  I would love that but I would have to do a lot of gazzinta-ing and math ing and some creative thinking to make that happen.  But it is something I think about.  I am also thinking about just taking it apart and making something else.  We shall see.

For now I will think on it.
